TOASTMASTERS LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE SCHEDULE

TOASTMASTERS LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE (TLI) 

Toastmasters Leadership Institute (TLI) is a one-day training event held twice per year in District 5.  While *club officer training (COT) is always part of the program, various topics that will help members and clubs achieve their goals are also addressed in TLI.

Cost: $12.00 per person includes Lunch

*There is No Cost to attend just Club Officer Training and you do not need to register for Club Officer Training just show up 10 mins before the designated training time.

TLI is scheduled to be held at San Diego County Office of Education on 07/29/2017

Grateful Leadership   – Keynote Speaker: Kathryn Kest, DTM
Effective leaders must find ways to enhance people’s level of engagement, commitment, and support, especially during the difficult periods of time that all organizations may face.

SCHEDULE: 

8:00 am – Sign-in/Coffee & Pastries

8:20 am – Opening – Mark Rauschenbach, DTM – District 5 Director 2017-18

8:30 am – Keynote: Grateful Leadership – Kathryn Kest

9:40 am – 2 sessions – pick one to attend: 1) Women In Leadership, 2) Leveraging Yourself As A Thought Leader OR attend COT for Treasurer, VP Membership & VP Public Relations

10:50 am – 3 sessions – pick one to attend:  1) Tribal Leadership: You need a Team to build your Dream, 2) I Am At Choice, and 3) Level 5 Leadership OR attend COT for VP Education or SAA

11:50 am to 12:40 pm LUNCH

12:45 pm – 3 sessions – pick one to attend: 1) Leading A Successful Club Contest, 2) My Leadership Journey, and 3) Marketing Resources For Your Club OR attend: COT for President, or Secretary

TLI is scheduled to end by 1:45 pm unless otherwise posted and may be subject to change

Join Us after TLI for a Club Sponsored Event In Room 401 – Kathryn Mahoney the District 5 International Speech Contest Winner will be practicing her speech for the Semi-finals in Vancouver British Columbia for the World Championship of Public Speaking. All are welcome to attend.
