Club Presidents, VPEs and members of the DEC need to register before or by Monday, Sept 18, 2023 so that we can determine if we have a quorum for the District 5 Virtual Fall Business Meeting. If at that time we do not have a quorum we will continue to contact those members of the District Council who have not registered.

At the end of the registration period the Credentials Chair will ensure A) district council members have the correct number of votes and B) we have a quorum (1/3 presidents and vice presidents education).

Proxies are no longer permitted. The Club President and Vice President Education, the club’s two voting representatives on the District Council, are expected to attend and vote at all District Council meetings (Fall/Spring). However, each club has the option to determine if one of its two representatives will carry the club’s two votes or if both representatives will carry one vote each.
